Twitter Canada Launches its First Political Emojis: #BCVotes #cpcldr

Twitter Canada has released its first political emojis in Canada, in time for the upcoming B.C. election and Conservative Party Leadership Vote.

The social network told iPhone in Canada these new emojis will “help voters, journalists and political enthusiasts keep up with election news.”

Ahead of the May 9th election in B.C., here are the hashtags that will bring up a ballot box emoji:

And here are the hashtags to use for the Conservative Party leadership vote, set to take place on May 27th:

Twitter Canada noted when Kevin O’Leary dropped out of the Conservative party race a couple days ago, it was quickly the top trending topic in Canada.
