Google Home Switches On Hands-Free Calling for French Canadian

Last month, Google rolled out multi-user support and hands-free calling for Google Home users in Canada, originally supporting English first. But last week, Google added support for hands-free calling for French Canadian users to their smart speaker, reports iPhone in Canada reader Pierre.

In order to get started with multi-user support, users will need to download Google Home for iOS and link up the “multi-user is available” option, to train the Assistant with your voice.

While Canadians can now make hands-free calling over Wi-Fi in English and French Canadian now, those receiving your calls won’t see your number for caller ID, as it’ll show “unknown” or “no caller ID.” Official caller ID support is coming by the end of 2017 says Google.
