iOS 11.2 Beta Download Released for Devs, Along with watchOS 4.2, tvOS 11.2 Betas

Apple has released iOS 11.2 beta (15C5092b), watchOS 4.2 beta (15S5085b), and tvOS 11.2 beta (15K5085b) for developers to test.

No word on what’s new in these betas, but stay tuned.

Last week, Apple released iOS 11.1 beta 5, along with the fourth betas of tvOS 11.1 and macOS 10.13.1. Public releases should be out soon for these betas, in time for iPhone X this Friday.

Can someone explain why iOS 11.1 is not even out yet that there is an iOS 11.2 ?

It’s because 11.1 is officially finished and is in the QA stage. Nothing new will be added. 11.2 is where any new changes or updates will be done.

Apple is probably putting more time into making sure 11.1 doesn’t have any critical bugs.
