Earlier this summer, Amazon made headlines again when it acquired Whole Foods Market, in a $13.7 billion USD all-cash deal. In September, Canadian shoppers finally saw Whole Foods private label groceries and more hit Amazon.ca, and now we’re seeing a promo to encourage more sales of these new items, at the online version of ‘Whole Paycheque’.
Amazon.ca now has a “Spend $25, Save $5” promotion, which is equivalent to saving 20% off “on products from Whole Foods Market.”
We’re seeing some snacks and other items on sale, in particular their 365 Everyday private label. With all items shipped and sold by Amazon.ca, they also quality for Prime shipping speeds, so they’ll arrive in two days or less.
