Telus Offers Free AirPods with Any iPhone Activation or Renewal

Telus Cyber Monday deals include some offers on iPhones which customers may want to check out.

The highlight is the offer of free Apple AirPods ($219 CAD value), with any iPhone activation or renewal on “select 2 year plans”, available online only, while quantities last.

Here are some iPhone 2-year contract offers right now from Telus:

  • iPhone 8 – $0 (save $230); requires $85/month plan
  • iPhone 8 Plus – $130 (save $230); requires $85/month plan
  • iPhone 7 – $0 (save $250); requires $75/month plan
  • iPhone 7 Plus – $0 (save $200); requires $85/month plan
  • iPhone 6 – $0 (save $100); requires $65/month plan
  • iPhone 6s – $0 (save $130); requires $75/month plan
  • iPhone 6s Plus – $0 (save $250); requires $75/month plan

We first saw the free AirPods with iPhone Telus deal from Best Buy’s Black Friday flyer, but now the offer is available to any iPhone if you renew or activate online from Telus.

Telus says customers can also “pre-register” for Apple Watch Series 3, which is expected to arrive by next month.

I’m sorry for asking this question, but shouldn’t the ear buds already come with a phone?

These are the wireless earbuds. The still come with a wired lightning pair (with stereo adapter).

Oh ok so you still get something. I just figured since they got rid of the headphone jack you still get the wireless buds.

That’s the case with some OEMs not shipping with USB C headphones. Last I checked, Google was one of them with the Pixel 2.
