McDonald’s McDelivery with Uber Eats Launches in Vancouver

Say good bye to your New Year’s resolutions devoted to healthy eating, because McDonald’s has launched delivery in Vancouver with Uber Eats.

McDelivery is now available at select locations in Vancouver, allowing customers to order anything off the menu and pay the same prices, but delivered via Uber Eats (a delivery charge applies).

“With UberEATS, you can get the food you want, where you want it, delivered at Uber speed. We’re thrilled to partner with McDonald’s to give fans in Vancouver easy access to their McDonald’s favourites at the tap of a button,” said Dan Park, General Manager of Uber Eats Canada, in a press release. “McDonald’s is one of the most searched restaurants in the UberEATS app, so we’re excited to expand our reach and deliver what they’ve been craving.”

Some conditions do apply, as soft serve cones aren’t available (self explanatory), while coupons and mobile offers won’t apply.

McDelivery with Uber Eats is currently available in over 340 restaurants across Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area.

McDonald’s first launched delivery with Uber Eats last summer, debuting at 187 restaurants in Canada.

To get started, download the Uber Eats iOS app, then search for your location to see what restaurants are available for delivery.

The only good thing about McDonalds is that it’s cheap – but adding a delivery charge takes that benefit away. And you’d burn a few calories walking to the McDonalds ordering it the old fashioned way – now you don’t even have to do that. How are you supposed to pay for the diabetes medication you’ll need if you use it all up on Uber Eats delivery charges?
