TELUS Launches Unlimited Your Choice Canada-China Plan Starting at $70

Telus has launched a new Your Choice Canada-China plan, which includes free roaming in China, and unlimited calling and texting from Canada to China, according to documents seen by iPhone in Canada. The plan will apply to Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao.

The Your Choice Canada-China plan allows users the following benefits:

• Data usage in Canada and China (according to your data bucket/shared bucket on account)
• Unlimited calling in China to China/Canadian phone numbers
• Unlimited texting in China to China/Canadian phone numbers
• Unlimited calling and texting from Canada to China phone numbers

According to Telus, if an account has multiple subscribers, “only the subscriber with this plan has the benefit fo free China calling, texting and roaming.”

Also, when roaming in China, calls made to numbers outside Canada and China are not included and billed at standard roaming and long distance rates.

This new plan option is not available for business accounts. It can be stacked with international long distance bundles and the ‘Easy Roam International CN’ add-on ($10/day), however.

Customers in BC, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, PEI, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut can jump on this plan.
