Four Months into iPhone X, iMovie Still Lacks Screen Support
Apple launched iPhone X back in November of 2017, and four months later, iMovie for iOS still lacks screen support for the company’s newest smartphone.
Frustrated users on Reddit brought up the topic for discussion, citing it’s ironic how Apple is urging developers to update their apps for the iPhone X display, but haven’t even bothered to do so for their popular app, iMovie.

The last update to iMovie for iOS was back on September 5, 2017. Other apps lacking iPhone X screen support include iTunes Remote and AirPort Utility.
Are you an active iMovie for iOS user still waiting for iPhone X support?

iTunes connect has not been updated either. A little ironic.
Anyone ever have an issue with iPhone X where you go to unlock it but when you slide up to unlock all it does is bring up notifications. Happened prob 3-4 times now. Touch screen works but no way to slide to unlock
I’ve had that happen a few times, but I believe it was user error (me)
I think on those occasions, I just didn’t swipe up far enough, or didn’t start low enough.
As swiping up from anywhere on the lock screen brings up notifications.
Ya. Mine I can’t swipe up to unlock or swipe from top right down for settings. But the screen works. And it’s unlocked ready to swipe. Only thing I’ve found that works is a reboot. I tried doing searches online for other people with same issue. No luck. Apple store too far away
Perhaps there is something in the way that’s making it a bit of a design challenge. 😛
