Apple Hiring Software Engineers for iWork on in Vancouver, Toronto

Apple has a recent job posting seeking software engineers to work on iWork for, with positions available in Cupertino.

But according to Jacob Devine, Software Engineering Manager at Apple based in Toronto, the job posting is also seeking candidates from Vancouver and Toronto as well.

Devine said on LinkedIn, “My team at Apple is hiring JavaScript devs for iWork on We’re looking in Cupertino, Vancouver and Toronto (regardless of what it says on the posting),” referring to these two postings on Apple’s website.

The jobs were posted back on March 9th and are full-time positions offering 40 hours of work per week. Qualifications required include a “real passion for and experience with JavaScript”, plus a “deep knowledge of HTTP and browser technologies,” among other technical requirements as well.

iWork consists of office productivity apps Pages, Numbers and Keynote. With support for iCloud, it allows teams to access and edit documents from the web, on a Mac or PC web browser (Safari 7 or later, Chrome 35 or later and Internet Explorer 11 or later).
