iMovie Finally Updated for iPhone X; Adopts Metal for Graphics Processing

Apple has finally updated iMovie for the Super Retina display on iPhone X, five months after the launch of the smartphone.

Today’s update also says iMovie now “adopts Metal for graphics processing,” while there is improved localization for Simplified Chinese. Apple also states iMovie for iOS now has overall stability improvements as well.

This is a huge finally. Five months to update a marquee app for your latest iPhone is way too long, which is why users on Reddit voiced their displeasure about the delay last month.
