Dropbox Upgrades Pro, Business Accounts with Free 1TB of Extra Space

Dropbox has announced its Professional and Business Standard accounts are getting a storage bump today—at no additional cost.

More space

According to the company, “Starting today, Professional accounts will get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage, while Business Standard teams will have 3 TB (3,000 GB) to share.” Pro accounts now have double the storage, while Business Standard accounts grow from 2TB to 3TB.

Dropbox says new accounts get the upgrade today, while existing accounts will see their storage increase “in the coming weeks.”

The company says “As you collaborate on large files—like ultra hi-def video and interactive presentations—with co-workers and clients, your need for storage only increases,” which is why they’re offering this free upgrade.

Nice move, Dropbox.
