What time will Apple release iOS 12 for download today? The company stated at last week’s iPhone event iOS 12 would be available for download on September 17, 2018.
Apple didn’t state a time iOS 12 would release, but if we follow what the company has done in the past for major software releases, expect the time to be 10AM PDT/1PM EDT.
Last year, iOS 11 was released on September 19 at 10AM PDT, so we expect iOS 12 to be released at the same time.
Today will also mark the release of watchOS 5 and tvOS 12 as well. As for macOS Mojave, that’s coming next week on September 24.
How to update your iOS device to iOS 12 when it’s out? Just got Settings > General > Software Update. Don’t forget to make sure you have a backup of your device before updating.
