Bell’s CraveTV Redesigned: Custom Profiles, Navigation and More; Coming Soon to iOS

Bell Media has updated their streaming service CraveTV on the web for desktop users, introducing new features and controls, plus a new URL: crave.ca.

In an email to CraveTV subscribers, the company writes “We are excited to introduce you to the new look of CraveTV! We’ve added new features, and updated our URL to match. If you have our site bookmarked, update it now to crave.ca. Don’t worry; CraveTV.ca will still be around for a short time while we complete these changes.”

For Desktop users, navigation is now faster and easier, with the ability to hover over titles to learn more information. Users can click the “+” button to add shows to My List, while also easily continue where they left off with a new Continue Watching section.

Users now also have viewing activity Watch History, plus a new site section for HBO, Showtime, Kids and Collections.

New custom profiles are now available, allowing users to set up to five users per account. Each profile can be tailored with parental controls from preschoolers to adults, explains Bell Media. However, existing parent controls will not be transferred over to these new profiles, so parents need to set them up again on this updated version of CraveTV.

There is now also the possibility of password protecting profiles to keep them private, via PIN code.

CraveTV says these new features will be coming soon to iOS, Apple TV and Android as well.
