Foodora Launches 7-Eleven Delivery from 48 Locations in Canada

Food delivery service, Foodora, has announced it has partnered with convenience store chain, 7-Eleven, to offer delivery for Canadians.

The new partnership makes delivery from 7-Eleven possible from 48 stores nationwide, offering the delivery of snacks, drinks, hot food and everyday items—including Slurpees.

Foodora explains to iPhone in Canada, this is the first time it has partnered with a convenience store on their platform. Canadians will be able to have items such as Advil, tissues, chocolate bars, milk, bread, hot food and more.

“If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that Canadians love the convenience of getting good food whenever and wherever they want it. We’re excited to work with 7-Eleven, the king of convenience, to expand beyond good food, and offer our customers an easy way to get their everyday essentials, hot foods and snacks,” said David Albert, Managing Director, foodora Canada, in an issued statement to iPhone in Canada. “foodora and 7-Eleven share one common goal, and that’s making life easier for customers. We look forward to continuing to evolve and serving our customers’ needs in new ways.”

Foodor and 7-Eleven have created some “occasion kits”, which come in limited edition Foodora x 7-Eleven tote bags. A couple examples include:

Game Night – All you need for the big match: Slurpee or 2L pop; pizza; wings; snacks: chips, nachos, chocolate, candy

The Morning Recovery – A lifesaver after a wild night on the town with your friends – Slurpee or 2L pop; sports drink; 5-hour Energy; Advil or Aspirin or Tylenol; Pizza; Snacks: nachos, nuts and trail mixes

According to the company, Foodora pick up and delivery service will be available in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, with 48 locations total participating.

Below are the delivery hours for each city:

  • Toronto: 10am to 11pm, Monday to Wednesday and 10am to 1am, Thursday to Sunday
  • Vancouver: 10am to 10pm, Monday to Wednesday and 10am to 12am, Thursday to
    Sunday
  • Calgary: 10am to 10pm, Monday to Wednesday and 10am to 12am, Thursday to Sunday
  • Edmonton: 10am to 10pm, Monday to Wednesday and10am to 12am, Thursday to
