Rogers Share Everything Main Lines Can Now Change Plans Without Affecting Family Lines

Rogers has made a change in how Share Everything plans work with families, as now additional lines no longer are required to switch plans too, when the main account holder decides to change their plan.

According to documents seen by iPhone in Canada, Rogers says this change is aimed at boosting a customer’s satisfaction, specifically to resolve a “major customer pain point” in regards to Share Everything plans.

This new change applies to Individually Liable accounts (IDV) but not business plans.

Rogers says this new change only applies to customers who meet the following conditions on their main line:

  • A Share Everything plan with Canada-wide calling, including Canada+US Share Everything plans
  • Using a plan available nationally

Plans with local calling or regional plans (i.e. Manitoba, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Atlantic Provinces) are not eligible for this change.

According to documents, this change for Share Everything plans was made effective on October 30, 2018.
