Telus flanker brand Koodo is offering a promotion for new prepaid customers right now.
According to the company, new prepaid activations can get “double the Booster add-ons”, for a “limited time only.”
Booster add-ons are available for Canada-wide talk and data, and long distance talk and data.
With Boosters, any unused minutes, text or data gets carried over when you renew your base plan. Koodo recommends “it’s best to pick the biggest Booster add-ons to enjoy our best per-minute or per-megabyte rate.” An example would be the $30/1GB Booster now becoming $30/2GB, essentially half price. These prices still aren’t great, but still better than nothing if you’re a prepaid customer.

Koodo’s prepaid website also currently lists “limited time offer” 30-day plans of $55/4GB, $65/6GB and $75/8GB with unlimited Canada-wide calling and international text.
