Bell’s TSN Direct Live Streaming Sports Service Gets Price Drop to $19.99/mo

Tsn direct monthly

Bell Media has announced its TSN Direct and RDS Direct live streaming sports service has received a price drop of $5, going from $24.99 to $19.99 per month plus taxes.

Also available is the recently launched $4.99 Day Pass for TSN Direct and RDS Direct, aimed at those seeking to watch the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. Bell Media has Canadian rights to the largest tournament in U.S. college basketball, available on TSN.

The new Day Pass was first announced back in January, with Bell Media saying at the time, this “all-new, single-day subscription option is the first of its kind in Canada.”

TSN Direct offers TSN’s five feeds along with on-demand content, while RDS Direct offers French content from three feeds: RDS, RDS2 and RDS INFO.

TSN and RDS Direct are available for viewing on computers, tablets, mobile devices, and Apple TV, while TSN Direct is also available on a Samsung SmartTV and Xbox One. The company says more platforms are coming soon.

TSN and RDS Direct monthly subscriptions auto-renew, while daily passes are available for 24 hours.

As for why TSN Direct saw a monthly price drop? The discount most likely is targeting those seeking to watch the NCAA March Madness tournament, which starts on March 19 and ends on April 8. The $19.99 plus taxes price point likely moves it into the ‘impulse purchase’ category for sports fans stuck at work.
