Sony has launched a new app to let you stream your PS4 screen to your iPhone or iPad, called PS4 Remote Play, making many owners of the console happy today. A similar app has long been available for Android users for many years, but has finally landed on iOS.

PS4 Remote Play for iOS will let you “display the PS4 screen on your mobile device,” explains Sony, allowing you to use the on-screen controller on your iPhone or iPad to control your PS4 over Wi-Fi.

You’ll also be able to use voice chat with the app on your iPhone or iPad, plus also use your iOS device as a keyboard to enter text on your PS4.

Requirements to use PS4 Remote Play? Sony explains “iPhone 7, iPad (6th-generation), and iPad Pro (2nd generation) or later are recommended.” You’ll also need your PlayStation Network account plus high-speed internet access at home.

PS4 Remote Play may not work with all games, plus you “cannot use the DUALSHOCK 4 with this app,” nor use the app on a cellular data network.
