For BMO Mobile Banking iPhone app customers, a new feature is available to let you download a copy of a void cheque, right from your smartphone.
According to BMO, this latest feature addition is for “making it even easier to set up direct deposits or regular payments!” You can find this void cheque download—in PDF format—feature under your bank account details.
Normally, banking customers would be required to write ‘VOID’ on a physical cheque to provide to their employer or other third-party to setup a direct deposit or automated withdrawal. Now, if you require a void cheque from BMO, you can get a digital VOID cheque right from your iPhone, saving you time.
Last month, BMO updated their iPhone app to make photo cheque deposits easier, while also integrated BMO Verification Codes for added account security.
