Cineplex Mobile Apps Suffering from Outage

Cineplex is dealing with an outage on their mobile apps, as they are unable to connect and display listings, tickets and more.

The company’s website was down earlier as well, but recently came back online and is loading up slowly.

The Cineplex iOS app when loaded shows blank listings and tapping on the tabs What’s On, Theatres, My Tickets, Food and Account do not show any up to date information.

“An error occurred. Sorry, the requested page could not be found,” says the iOS app.



Cineplex has been responding to customers on social media saying, “Hi there, we are currently experiencing technical issues on the mobile app and website at this time. IT is currently looking into it, we suggest you try again later. Thank you.”

With the app offline, customers are unable to access their existing tickets.

No word on when the mobile apps will start working again but given the website is back online, the apps should be available again shortly.
