Nomad Introduces Kevlar-Coated Lightning and USB-C Cables

The folks over at Nomad have just introduced a rugged new cable lineup incorporating Kevlar K29 into both the outer braid and inner core of its cables, featuring Lightning, USB-C, and Micro-USB connectors. Kevlar has high tensile strength, heat resistance, and all-around toughness.

In addition to the added strength, Nomad has redesigned the over-mold that connects the charging tips to the Kevlar-coated cables. The new cable lineup also features reinforced Lightning, USB-C, USB-A, and Micro-USB connectors for added durability.

A USB-C to Lightning option is available in 1.5M or 3M with support for 18W charging speeds, whereas USB-C to USB-C versions with up to 100W charging speeds are ideal for USB-C-equipped MacBook and iPad Pro devices.

You can get more information and order the new cables via Nomad’s official website.
