The Pokémon GO team has today announced in association with Tourisme Montréal that its next Pokémon Go Safari Zone event will take place in Montreal, Canada from September 20th to the 22nd. The event will see Parc Jean-Drapeau transformed into a speedy Pokémon wonderland.

For those who can’t attend the event, Niantic says many of the Pokémon featured at the Safari Zone will be made available to trainers across Canada during regular play. “In addition, Yanma will appear more frequently globally!,” notes the official announcement.

“This ticketed event will take place along the historic Circuit Gilles Villeneuve at beautiful Parc Jean-Drapeau on Saint Helen’s Island and Notre Dame Island in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Pokémon that evolve into fast Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, and unique Field Research will be available for Trainers to complete throughout the day.”

Tickets for Safari Zone Montreal will be available soon. More information on the upcoming event will be shared by the Pokémon GO team in the coming weeks as well. Stay tuned!
