Five months ago Apple refreshed its iPad mini, bringing hardware updates to include the latest A12 Bionic chip, 3GB of RAM and support for the first-generation Apple Pencil.
The iPad mini 5 starts at $529 on Apple.ca and right now it is seeing a discount of $53 off at Walmart locations and online, taking it down to $476 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model, available in Space Grey, Silver and Gold.
The iPad mini 5 has the same 7.9-inch display and old external design, but the display also now supports True Tone and wide colour.
If you were about to pick up an iPad mini 5 for back to school, Walmart’s sale can save you a few bucks. You could price match over at Best Buy to save a few bucks as well.
