Best Buy Sale: Discounts on iPhone XR and More with Up to $300 in Gift Cards

Best buy iphone xr labour day

Leading into the Labour Day long weekend, Best Buy has launched a sale on various iPhones, offering up to $300 in gift card bonuses.

iPhone XR – Telus and Rogers

You can get a 64GB iPhone XR for $0 upfront, with $20/month in financing over 24 months, which works out to $480 for the phone (still sells for $1,029 on Apple.ca). This is with a $75/10GB plan, plus a $300 store gift card. So your iPhone XR works out to $480 minus the $300 gift card, or $180.

You’ll be paying $95/month for 24 months for the financing charge plus plan charge. After 24 months, find another deal or continue to pay $75 per month for 10GB.

With financing, you’ll need to pay taxes on the device upfront.

iPhone XR – Fido and Virgin

You can get a 64GB iPhone XR for $0 upfront on a two-year Large/Platinum plan, plus a $50 gift card. Large and Platinum plans start at $95/month with 10GB of data.

iPhone XS – Bell

A 64GB iPhone XR is available on select 2-year Premium Plus plans for $0 upfront (save $260). Premium Plus plans start at $110 per month with 5GB of data and unlimited Canada-wide minutes.

iPhone 8 – Virgin and Fido

You can get a 64GB iPhone 8 for $0 on a Medium/Gold plan on a 2-year term, plus a $300 gift card. Medium/Gold plans start at $65/month with 4GB data. A Medium/Gold tab is $360, so the iPhone 8 works out to $60 plus activation fees and taxes after the gift card.

iPhone 7 – Virgin, Fido and Koodo

The aging 32GB iPhone 7 can be yours for $0 upfront, on a 2-year Small/Silver plan, plus a $100 gift card. Small/Silver plans start at $40 per month with 1GB data and unlimited Canada-wide minutes. They come with $240 in tab charges so with the gift card, the iPhone 7 works out to $140 plus activation fees and taxes.

Apple is expected to announce new iPhones at its upcoming September 10 special event next week, hence these discounts.
