iOS 13 Release Date on September 19, Other Software Dates Announced by Apple

Earlier today, Apple announced a new 10.2-inch iPad, Apple Watch Series 5, iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.

As for software release dates, Apple said iOS 13 will be made available for download on September 19.

Here are other dates for Apple’s software releases, which are being staggered this year:

• September 19: iOS 13
• September 19: watchOS 6 (for Series 3 and later; Series 1 and 2 coming “later this fall)
• September 30: iOS 13.1
• September 30: iPadOS
• September 30: tvOS 13
• October: macOS Catalina

Interestingly, Apple also announced iOS 13.1 will be released on September 30 and will bring with it improvements to AirDrop, as it “gets even better with directionally aware suggestions.”
