Sony Cuts PS Now Pricing in Canada by Up to 35% Off, Now Starting at $12.99

Sony has announced its PS Now gaming subscription is getting a price cut in the U.S., Canada, EU, UK and Japan.

“Starting today, PS Now will be offered at a more compelling price that is comparable to other entertainment streaming services on the market. Current customers will see this new pricing reflected in their next billing cycle,” explained Sony in a blog post.

For Canadians subscribed to PS Now, the prices are cut by up to 35% off for the monthly subscription. The new prices for PS Now in Canada are below.

  • Monthly: $12.99 CAD (was $19.99 CAD; 35% off)
  • 3-Months: $34.99 CAD (was $44.99 CAD; 22% off)
  • 12-Months: $79.99 CAD (was $99.99 CAD; 20% off)

Also, new games are coming to PS Now starting today, available until January 2, 2020:

  • God of War
  • Grand Theft Auto V
  • inFAMOUS Second Son
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End




PS Now will get new “marquee” games only available for a limited time, on top of its existing library.

“We’ve been in the cloud gaming business since 2014, and we have had many key learnings along the way to ensure we deliver a service that meets the needs of gamers,” added Sony.

With Google’s Stadia cloud gaming subscription launching in November and priced at $11.99 CAD per month for Stadia Pro, it’s no surprise PS Now is seeing a price cut to compete.
