Amazon.ca has a promotion right now offering up a free Echo Show 5 (worth $99 CAD), with the purchase of a Ring Video Doorbell Pro.
A Ring Video Doorbell Pro on its own is $299, but the bundle with “Free Echo Show 5” is at $298.99. The Pro version of the Ring Video Doorbell brings added 5 GHz Wi-Fi support and advanced motion detection alerts.
A standalone Echo Show 5 is $99, but right now the latter is 20% off at $79.99.
If you’ve been waiting to pick up a Ring Video Doorbell Pro, the free Echo Show 5 will let you see who’s at the door on the speaker. Integration with Alexa means announcements are made to your Echo speaker, along with the two-way talk support to whoever is at your front door.
Amazon’s fine print says this “Offer expires at 11:59 p.m. (PT) Oct 10, 2019.”
