‘iPhone SE 2’ Release Date in Q1 2020, Pricing at $399 USD: Kuo

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a pretty good track record when it comes to detailing Apple’s future product announcements, is out with more details regarding the rumoured ‘iPhone SE 2’.
According to a research note obtained by MacRumors, Kuo believes the next-generation ‘iPhone SE 2’, based on the iPhone 8 form factor (4.7-inch display), will debut in Q1 2020, with pricing starting at $399 USD ($527 CAD roughly), for a new entry-level smartphone.
As for other ‘iPhone SE 2’ specs? Check out what Kuo detailed in his note below:
- A13 CPU (used in the iPhone 11)
- 3GB LPDDR4X
- 64GB and 128GB options
- Space Gray, Silver and Red colors
- No 3D Touch
The details noted by Kuo above seem to reiterate his earlier October report detailing the ‘iPhone SE 2’, which he expects is aimed at the apparent 100 million people still using an iPhone 6, plus others still using an iPhone 6s.
“We believe that iPhone SE2 will meet more users’ demand and increase iPhone’s market share because of the more affordable price,” Kuo said earlier this month.
