IKEA is set to launch a sale on its SYMFONISK Wi-Fi bookshelf speaker, made in partnership with Sonos, starting next week.
The SYMFONISK speaker will be discounted by $20 off at $129, savings of 13%. The sale is noted in IKEA’s Holiday Guide on page five, denoting an upcoming “up to 15% off select speakers.”
This speaker can be placed on a shelf vertically or horizontally and can also be wall-mounted. As part of the Sonos family, it can be grouped with other speakers, while be fully-controlled via the Sonos app.
The SYMFONISK also supports Apple’s AirPlay 2 protocol, so you can stream music or audio directly to it from your Apple devices. You can also pair two speakers together to make a stereo pair.
In our review of the SYMFONISK, it’s a good speaker but doesn’t outperform a Sonos One or its larger SYMFONISK Table Lamp sibling speaker, similarly made by Sonos.
The SYMFONISK bookshelf speaker will be on sale from November 21-24, 2019.
