A couple of months back, photographer Andrew Levitt and his friends recreated every default Apple wallpaper included in macOS releases, including Mojave, Sierra, High Sierra, El Capitan, Yosemite, and Mavericks, on a one-week road trip.
Now, they have returned with the recreation of Apple’s latest macOS Catalina wallpaper.
Apple’s seventh California location themed wallpaper on Catalina Island was not easy to capture. We had to backpack / hike out to the most remote part of the island to launch a drone and hope that we could get the shot!
Levitt has also published a video on his YouTube channel showing the whole process of how they achieved their goal.
