Bell’s prepaid brand, Lucky Mobile, is holding a flash sale this weekend, through to January 20, 2019.
According to the company’s website, it says “Sign up today and get up to 10.5 GB of data with Automatic Top-Up! Available at participating retailers. Offer ends January 20, 2020.”
The fine print says “2 GB of bonus data offer valid on plans $40/mo or more,” and the deal is not available at Dollarama. A $10 SIM card charge applies.
Right now, the following plans are available for $40 or more:
$40/5GB + 2GB bonus data = $40/7GB
$50/8.5GB + 2GB bonus data = $50/10.5GB
These two plans include unlimited Canada-wide and U.S. calling, along with unlimited International texts.
Lucky Mobile operates at 3G network speeds, so data is much slower compared to modern-day LTE networks. This offer is only available in-store.

The Rogers plan is $65 after Automatic Payments and originally offers 25GB of data, but it was doubled to 50GB. Data speeds...
