The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has just released an interesting comparison of Tesla police car concepts, including a Model X police vehicle and a Tesla Cybertruck police patrol car (via Electrek). The OPP’s highway safety decision has also tweeted the images to Elon Musk asking for his opinion on the concepts.

While the Model X police vehicle concept was originally released by the OPP nearly two years ago, they have shared it again for comparison with their new Tesla Cybertruck patrol vehicle.
Although Tesla’s electric pickup truck is not coming to market until late next year, as a 6-seater with off-road capacity and specs going up to 500 miles of range and an acceleration in just 2.9 seconds, it would certainly make for a handy police vehicle.
