If you’re on the hunt for AirPods, Apple’s second-generation models are on sale at various retailers.
Costco warehouses have AirPods 2 (regular charging case) for $189.99, saving you $30 off the retail price from Apple.ca. Buying from Costco means you have a longer return period (90 days for electronics) versus regular retailers (14 days typically or so).
If you are looking for the AirPods 2 with wireless charging case, they on sale for $41 off at Visions at $228. Apple.ca sells them for $269. With the wireless charging case, they can be charged on any Qi-compatible pad, plus there’s a Lightning connector as well for cable charging.
AirPods 2 are powered by Apple’s H1 chip for faster device switching, offering more talk time and have “Hey Siri” functionality. Aside from easy pairing with all your iCloud-connected devices, AirPods have become a status symbol among high schoolers and society in general (even my grandma has a pair…not). AirPod stocks may eventually be limited due to coronavirus in China.
