Apple to Fix iPad Air (3rd Gen) Blank Screen Issue with New Repair Program

Ipad repair program

On Friday afternoon, Apple quietly launched a new service program for iPad Air (3rd gen) owners, suffering from a blank screen issue.

“Apple has determined that, under certain circumstances, the screen on a limited number of iPad Air (3rd generation) devices may go blank permanently. A brief flicker or flash may appear before the screen goes blank,” explains the company.

The affected devices are iPad Air models manufactured between March to October 2019. If your iPad Air (3rd gen) is eligible, Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider will fix your tablet free of charge. No other iPad models are part of this program says Apple.

This repair program also applies to Canadians—you can learn more by visiting the service program page here.
