Zoomer Wireless, which runs on the Rogers LTE network, has extended one of its promos until March 31, 2020, but also bumped up data.
One particular plan of interest is the company’s $36/month plan, which now has 5GB of data (previously 4GB), along with 800 anytime Canada-wide minutes and unlimited international messaging. This plan also comes with a $100 activation credit, and also is eligible for a $50 referral credit if you can find a friend. Zoomer says the plan already includes a 10% off discount.
The $36/5GB plan on a two-year term also includes a Samsung Galaxy A10e for $0, which one could easily sell on used classifieds or give away. The plan includes call display, call waiting, conference calling, mini voicemail and name display.

The plan available here at $36/5GB on the Rogers LTE network is cheaper than what you can get from Rogers or Fido and with the $100 credit, you’re paying $31.84/month over 24 months. It goes down to $29.76/month if you can find a $50 referral credit–and even cheaper if you sell the Galaxy A10e. You get the idea.
The $36/4GB promo has been around for a while now but the extra bump to 5GB makes it slightly sweeter, especially when a comparable 5GB plan with Fido costs $60 per month (outside of Quebec), which is more than double what you would be potentially paying here after taking credits and the free smartphone into consideration.
