Amazon Prime Video Channels Adds BritBox, Hits 1st Anniversary in Canada

BBC and ITV’s British streaming service, BritBox, has landed on Amazon Prime Video Channels.

Amazon let its Prime subscribers know about the latest addition to Prime Video Channels yesterday in an email. Prime Video Channels lets members subscribe and watch various TV channels and other streaming services a la carte, all via the Prime Video app.

“You can subscribe to BritBox for $8.99 per month and indulge your inner Brit with new series and beloved classics, like Death in Paradise, Poirot, A Confession and more — no cable required,” explained Amazon.

Other Prime Video Channels include STACKTV, Starz, Super Channel, AcornTV, hayu, Nick+, Sundance Now, Shudder, Smithsonian Channel, Hollywood Suite, MGM, BBC Earth, Love Nature and OutTV.

The addition of BritBox lands on the one year anniversary of Prime Video Channels launching in Canada.
