In an effort to help governments and the general public gain more insight into local driving trends as part of their overall COVID-19 response and recovery efforts, Waze has just made its data dashboard publicly available.

In the past, Waze has shared specific data related to its users in Canada and select cities including Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec City, among others. But now, the data from the Waze COVID-19 Impact Dashboard is accessible for all to review and download from Waze directly.

Users can access global, national, and regional information via the Waze data dashboard, and can also compare various locations.

The data found in the charts shown above represents the percentage change in driven miles and kilometres, compared to the February 2020 daily average for a two-week period.
