With today’s announcement of iOS 14 at WWDC, Apple also announced its newest Apple Maps update will finally be making its way to Canada, alongside the UK and Ireland.
Apple Maps in iOS 14 will now show routes for cycling, to detail hills and flat routes, while also support electric vehicle routing to chargers.
In January 2020, Apple Maps launched in the United States showing better road coverage, pedestrian data, more precise addresses and more detailed land cover. These new features will make their way to Apple Maps for Canadians when iOS 14 is released this fall.
