New CTV App Launches for iOS and Android with More Live Channels

Bell Media has launched a new CTV app for iOS and Android users, bringing a new design and also adding more live streaming options. The app was updated to version 5.0 for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV users yesterday, alongside a similar update for Android users.
CTV said there’s now a “major expansion of content options, with the addition of live and on demand streaming of CTV Comedy Channel, CTV Drama Channel, CTV Sci-Fi Channel, and CTV Life Channel.” Other additions include “enhanced features and tools.”

The CTV app has live streams of CTV / CTV Two, CTV Comedy Channel, CTV Drama Channel, CTV Sci-Fi Channel, and CTV Life Channel. If you want to watch full seasons, create a list of saved titles and continue watching where you left off, you’ll need to have a TV service provider sign-in.
CTV says there’s now CTV Throwback and CTV Movies which are “totally unlocked with no subscription and no sign-in required.” Expect ads to support any free content within the app.
The app originally launched as CTV GO back in 2013 for streaming live TV and was later re-branded to just CTV.
