Bell Offers $45/25GB ‘Unlimited’ Data Plan Asking Former Customers to ‘Come Back’

Last week we saw Bell Mobility offering a $55 ‘winback’ plan with 20GB of data, but now it appears an even sweeter plan is available for old customers.

In an attempt to bring back former customers, wireless carriers will offer special plans unavailable on its website. Right now, a Bell offer to win back customers is in the form of a $45 per month plan with 25GB of data.

According to RFD, an email received explains, “there’s never been a better time to come back to Bell Mobility.”

Bell $45 25gb win back

“Switch to Canada’s best national network today and get an exclusive unlimited data plan for $45/month so you can upload, download and stream content without worrying about data overage charges,” reads the email.

The plan is eligible for bring your own device (BYOD) and also Bell SmartPay if you need a phone on contract.

The $45 plan includes unlimited Canada-wide calling and unlimited text, video and picture messages. The 25GB of data will be at full LTE speeds, then throttled to 512 Kbps thereafter. The fine print says a $40 connection service fee applies and the offer is exclusive for the email recipient.

Bell’s website currently advertises 20GB of ‘unlimited’ data for $95 per month. To get 25GB of ‘unlimited’ data for $45 is a steep discount.

The price point of $45 for 25GB of data from Bell essentially matches what Shaw Mobile is offering in B.C. and Alberta. It’s unclear if rivals Telus and Rogers will match this ‘winback’ offer from Bell, which is definitely a good deal.
