CBC News App Gains Widgets Support for iOS 14
Canada’s public broadcaster has updated its CBC News app for iPhone and iPad to now support widgets in iOS 14.
“Checking the headlines at a glance is now easier with our new customizable homescreen widgets. We’ve also made performance improvements and bug fixes in this release,” explains CBC News.
There are five widgets available, with sizes and topics ranging from Top Stores, Local and World. To add the CBC News widget on your iPhone or iPad in iOS 14, tap and hold anywhere on your home screen until icons “wiggle”, then tap the “+” sign in the top left of the screen. Then, select from the CBC News widget and add the one you want to your iPhone or iPad.
