Apple Updates App Store Guidelines With Enforced Rules Against Low-Effort Apps
Within the App Store Guidelines support page, Apple urges developers not to "submit apps that are indistinguishable from what's already widely available."
Dark Mode Launches on Google Docs, Sheets, Slides for iPhone and iPad
Back in August, Google announced new features and enhancements for its Docs, Sheets and Slides apps for iOS. The company also rolled out Dark Mode for Android, but noted iOS support would be coming later.
On Wednesday, Google finally released Dark Mode support for Docs, Sheets and Slides app for iOS and iPadOS.
“Welcome to Sheets/Docs/Slides in Dark Mode,” explains the iOS update history. Google also notes there are unnamed bug fixes and performance improvements as well.
Dark Mode debuted with iOS 13, to allow for a dark background to make using apps easier at night and in low light, and finally, Google has added support for Docs, Sheets and Slides.
