Apple leaker Jon Prosser this evening has shared some more tidbits on what’s coming in the Apple product pipeline.

According to Prosser, Apple is set to hold a special event in November to unveil its first Mac made with its own Apple Silicon chip.

“To confirm, there IS a November ARM Mac event. I’m hearing November 17th,” said Prosser on Thursday evening.

Prosser also reiterated his claim iPad Air pre-orders will kick off on October 16 and launch on October 23. He says iPad Air review units are arriving for select media on Friday, with an embargo set for next Wednesday.

The leaker also said media reviewers will be getting iPhone 12 units tomorrow, with embargos for the latter set to life on Tuesday.

“So you’ll see videos / press coverage of iPhone 12 on Tuesday, and then iPad Air coverage on Wednesday. They want you to see A14 on iPhone first, before iPad Air,” explains Prosser.

As for “one more thing”, Prosser later added the next Apple event after the November Mac event will be in the sprint, a March 16 event to be headlined by AirPods Studio wireless headphones.

As for a new Apple TV? Prosser claims, “There is no new Apple TV coming until next year.”

Earlier this summer at WWDC, Apple said it planned “to ship the first Mac with Apple silicon by the end of the year and complete the transition in about two years.” That being said, we know this Apple Silicon Mac is coming soon.

“Apple will continue to support and release new versions of macOS for Intel-based Macs for years to come, and has exciting new Intel-based Macs in development. The transition to Apple silicon represents the biggest leap ever for the Mac,” added the company.
