Looking at the screenshots, it appears the hacker has found a hardware-level exploit that would allow any iPhone or iPad with an A14 chip running iOS 14 or above to be jailbroken.
For those who aren’t familiar with the word“pwned,” it is basically a corruption of the word “owned” and originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled it as “pwned.”
When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so “has been owned.” Instead, it said, so-and-so “has been pwned.”
So when the hacker says the A14 chip in the iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro has been “pwned,” it means the device has been hacked to gain full root access and can now be jailbroken.
