Apple has just debuted its high-end over-the-ear headphones called AirPods Max for a whopping price of $779 CAD in Canada, which comes with a special carrying case that puts the headphones into a low power state for extended battery life.
As expected, Apple has chosen not to include any kind of cable with the AirPods Max, although you can use them wired as well. You will, however, need to buy the cable separately which is available for $45 CAD from Apple.ca.
It’s called Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable (1.2m) and can be used to connect your AirPods Max headphones to 3.5 mm audio ports. Alternatively, you can buy a third-party cable from Amazon, that is not only longer but also costs only $16 CAD.
Meanwhile, Apple is also offering replacement AirPods Max ear cushions costing $85 CAD per pair, which are currently listed as “coming soon.”
