The trending chatter this morning is Apple’s big splash unveil of its new AirPods Max wireless headphones, priced at $779 CAD in Canada.
These wireless headphones, aside from an astronomical price point, have yet to be proven against traditional noise-cancelling headphones, such as Sony’s WH-1000XM4, which are on sale right now for $150 off on Amazon.ca, at $348 CAD.
If you buy two pairs of these Sony headphones ($696), it’ll still cost you less than a single pair of AirPods Max ($779) and leave you with $83 to spare.

Even audiophiles such as popular tech reviewer Marques Brownlee are waiting to go hands-on with AirPods Max.
