WhatsApp Self-Destructing Photos Feature Coming Soon to iOS, Android

As spotted by the folks over at WABetaInfo, a new self-destructing photos feature is coming soon to WhatsApp for iOS and Android in a future update.

The upcoming feature is based on the same concept as Instagram Direct, and any photos sent via self-destructing photos feature will not be allowed to export from WhatsApp.

So far, there is no official WhatsApp screenshot of the feature leaked on the web and the feature has only been discovered in the source code of a WhatsApp beta release.
