Apple has announced a new purple colour for iPhone 12, set to start pre-order this Friday and to launch on April 30, 2021, as announced at its special event.
“The new purple finish, just in time for spring, adds another bright and fun option to the lineup, and we think customers are going to love it,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, in a statement.
Apple says iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in purple will be available to order on April 23 at 5am PDT, taking colour options to six. These new purple iPhones will ship with iOS 14.5, set to debut next week.
