‘Lisey’s Story’ revolves around widow Lisey Landon, played by Julianne Moore, investigating a series of disturbing events. Lisey Landon is reminded of her marriage to late author Scott Landon, played by Clive Owen, and what plagued him in the past throughout this ordeal.

In the video, King describes how Lisey’s Story came to be. “It’s very close to my heart,” King said. “I had pneumonia around the year 2000 and came really close to stepping out. When I came home from the hospital my wife had cleaned out my study, and I thought to myself, I’ve died, I’m a ghost. And the idea for “Lisey’s Story” came from that.”

‘Lisey’s Story’ is directed by Pablo Larraín and produced by J.J. Abrams. Both offer their own insight into working with King and working on the project within the video as well.

The series begins on Apple TV+ on June 4th and will span eight episodes.
