New Brunswick-based Xplornet has announced more details of its 50/10 Unlimited internet service rollout in rural Ontario, which began in the spring of this year.
According to Xplornet, over 220,000 homes and businesses in rural areas of Ontario now have access to the company’s 50/10 Unlimited plan, which offers download speeds of up to 50 Mbps and upload of up to 10 Mbps.
By the end of 2021, Xplornet says that number will surpass 300,000 homes and businesses in the province.
“The Xplornet team has been working hard upgrading our fibre and wireless broadband network to bring faster speeds across rural Ontario,” said Allison Lenehan, President and CEO of Xplornet, in a statement. “This is another important step in our continuing commitment to invest and deliver improved high speed Internet to rural homes and businesses across Canada so that people can stay connected to family, friends and work today and in the future, no matter where they choose to live.”
Xplornet says its 50/10 Unlimited plan starts at $109.99 per month, but those opting for a two-year term can get it for $99.99 per month, available in the following communities below:
